Astrosmurf Posted November 25, 2016 Share Posted November 25, 2016 HI Guys n Gals Im looking at getting my son a new bass for his 18th in Jan and have found a 1999 ( birth year ) American Deluxe Jazz 5. Hes played a 98 Mex Jazz 5 and loved it, so that box is ticked. My question is, ive not bought anything this level before and wonder if £995 is a fair price. Kev Posted November 25, 2016 Share Posted November 25, 2016 I don't really know too much about the Fender market, but I would have though a Deluxe jazz under £1k would be a reasonable deal, although this one is a little older. I looked high and low for the richt 1988 Warwick a while ago for the same reasons, didn't find one but hopefully one day!
