Previous owner did a bit of a hatchet job to fit a Varitone-style wiring system. It's not pretty but the plastic cover hides most of the damage and it does a fine job as a tone control. The pickup selector switch also works back to front. Yeah...not my work, I stress. Please note, this bass DOESN'T come with the black Hipshot bridge, just a normal Epiphone 3-point one. The odd scratch here and there but overall a nice little bass, but like the song says, a bit of a fixer-upper.
