Bass to PA advice

Hi,

I am trying to get me head around this. I will be buying a Fender 40 Rumble v2. It has a line out. I will be practicing most of the time at home so it will be headphones or turned down low. At the weekend I have access to a practice room with a PA. Can I use the line out to go directly into the PA? (for jamming with drummer)

Thanks,
C

the manual for the Rumble 15/30/75 says this

"LINE OUT Balanced output to connect to external devices such as PA systems and recording consoles. Use a balanced stereo cable (TRS→XLR or TRS→TRS) to reduce noise and hum. Mono (unbalanced) cables can also be used, but may be noisier. The level and tone of the LINE OUT signal is affected by all pre-amp controls, including Volume."

so in a word yes
