[color=#000000][font=HelveticaNeue][size=3]After much deliberation I have decided to offer my ACG J Type Fretless Five String Bass for sale.[/size][/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=HelveticaNeue][size=3]The only reason I am doing this is because I am exclusively gigging upright these days and with work and general life commitments, when I do find the time to pick this fabulous bass up, I get frustrated due to my sloppy intonation caused by lack of time to practice.[/size][/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=HelveticaNeue][size=3]I originally had it built as a fretted bass, but later got Alan to build and fit a fretless neck to fulfil my gigging requirements at the time. The original neck will be included in the sale.[/size][/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=HelveticaNeue][size=3]The Bass is a 35” scale, Black Limba body with a flamed maple top and a black veneer contrasting stripe.[/size][/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=HelveticaNeue][size=3]The fretless neck is maple with an unlined ebony fingerboard, having luminlay edge markers positioned at the pitch of the notes.[/size][/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif][font=HelveticaNeue][size=3]The original neck is a 7 piece maple/bubinga laminate with a flamed Maple cap and a nicely figured Macassar Ebony fretboard and Hipshot Ultralite tuners. No fret wear.[/size][/font][/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=HelveticaNeue][size=3]It has the [url="http://www.acguitars.co.uk/acg_admin/wordpress/pdf/ACG_EQ01.pdf"]ACG 01preamp[/url] fitted, and hipshot hardware with 18mm string spacing at the bridge. The bass weighs in at 4.8Kg (10.5lbs) and is perfectly balanced.[/size][/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=HelveticaNeue][size=3]There is absolutely no buckle rash, no fingerboard wear (Status black nylon strings fitted) and I can only find 2 tiny marks on the body that can only be seen if you hold it up to the light.[/size][/font][/color]
