Great little amp. It could do with a service.

Reason for service.

I traded this with PaulS on here a while back but he found that after 30 min or so the volume dropped. I got the amp back and have run it several times for longer than 30 min and had no problem at all.

It's in pretty good condition for its age. It dates to around 1994. So, will be one of the first Eden's to arrive in the UK.

I think the problem may be that the fan is not kicking in. Reason being, I haven't been driving it hard at home and it may not have warmed up enough for the fan to kick in. When warm enough, if the fan doesn't kick in it will go into thermal shutdown and should account for the lack of volume.

I'm sure a service will identify the problem, if any. It does need a service nevertheless as a couple of pots are a bit scratchy. The problem could also be caused by the master volume knob being dirty. Might be an easy fix for a handy lad (or lass)...

It's another job I'm not going to get round to so, it has to go.
