This place you to be the Castle pub and it was the pub for the workers of Cammel Laird shipbuilders, it is indeed on a roundabout. They have a bewildering array of fine beverages, you have to pay to get in even if you don't want to see the band. There is usually a good sized crowd and I expect you'll bring a load over too.
