mike_b Posted May 28, 2015 Share Posted May 28, 2015 Hi all, I'm sure this has been asked before (apologies if it has!) but I'm looking to replace the preamp valves on my terror bass head to get more usable gain out of them. I play at lot of metal so like the high gain sound with it breaking up too much like it does currently. Basically I'm looking for suggestions on the best valves to get and where to get them from. If anyone could also recommend a place to get the valves fitted too as I'm a bit nervous on doing it myself that would also be greatly appreciated!
