Here's an excellent example of a Squier SQ Precision dating from the early 80s. The SQ series were made as more contemporary versions of Fender instruments and were produced alongside the JV series. The quality, fit and finish is superb and it's no wonder these basses made Fender reassess their U.S. production and up their game!
This Precision is in very good original condition, the neck is superb with a low action and plenty of life in the frets. The trussrod turns and the neck is straight. The only change is that the nut has been professionally replaced a few years back. The electrics are original with a nice punchy growl to the pickup. The scratch plate is slightly warped but there are no breaks or cracks. There are some paint dings to the lower upper edge of the body but otherwise cosmetic condition is very good for a 30 plus year old bass.
It comes with a gigbag. Sorry no trades and pickup preferred but I can send in the UK at buyers cost. More pics to follow. Weight wise it's nice and light at under 9lbs.
