For sale is my Epiphone Tobias Toby Deluxe V bass. It is just over a year old and has only been played at home. No marks to speak of. This bass has issues that need addressing, but I've got a new instrument on the way in, so it can be someone else's project!

Asymmetrical neck, which is very comfortable

VERY light at 3.7kg
Well balanced
48mm nut width
17mm bridge spacing
Volume

Tone
Active 'Tonexpressor' bass boost

[u]Issues:[/u]

The pups are woeful - it seems to have been fitted with misaligned pole pieces and volume is uneven, with a popping noise, whilst playing across the strings. Ged Green (Manchester Luthier) has replaced the neck pup with a bar, which has solved the problem at that end. It now needs a replacement bridge pup and all will be well.
The nut is damaged - Epiphone have sent me a replacement.

This bass plays very nicely, being extremely lightweight and having a very comfortable, Tobias-style neck. It will make an excellent starter/ first fiver when the bridge pickup has been replaced and the new nut fitted.
