Here's my late nineties Status Empathy, with a book-matched Cocobolo face. Serial Number 3911. It's in excellent condition and comes with the standard Hiscox Hard Case. It plays as you would expect, the action is super low and the neck is sweet and fast. It has a small dink on the upper horn, and one or two small ones on the lower edge (too small to be seen in pics). At some time in its life the nut has been changed for a bone one. A new Status nut is £6 from the Status website. The bass has a zero fret (like most ((or all?)) Statii) so the nut has never really bothered me. I'm asking £1000 for it, plus any postage costs. I'm in the Cardiff area. I'd welcome any trial/inspection...if you pick this bass up you'll love it!

I'm selling it because I've got lots of basses and prefer the look/sound/feel of a Jazz-type bass, so this one's getting left out...and that ain't right! It needs somebody who's gonna slap the sh*t out of it!

Maybe up for a trade for something quality. Must be 4 string and fretted.
