So, the bass - i'm going to let someone else enjoy this bass as i barely use it - it's too good to collect dust in my man cave. It's in great condition, odd ding but nothing unusual, crackly mid pot but functions great. Awesome low B string with no floppiness, preamp is 18V and is excellent, very versatile. This is a surprisingly good 5 string bass for the money!!!

Googled blurb:

The Ibanez BTB555 5-String Bass Guitar, Maple/Mahogany Body, 5-piece Maple/Walnut Neck, Ibanez Pickups, 3-band EQ, Natural Finish. An electrifying, high quality 5-String bass with rich, clean and versatile tones.

The Ibanez BTB555 is built with all the top shelf materials, delivering rich, electrifying tones. The BTB555 takes the traditional formula of powerful tones produced by a massive body and substantial neck and then adds an even longer 35 inch scale neck, the right mix of select woods and high-tech appointments. The BTB555 has a unique off-center line neck shape, which follows the natural path of the thumb as it moves up the neck, making upper fretwork as easy as playing the lower frets. The 35 inch neck scale provides superior articulation with no "flopping" and solid sustain (great low B). A 5-piece maple and walnut neck, maple top and back plus mahogany body, 18-volt active Vari-Mid preamp, Ibanez pickups and a Monorail 2 (MR-II) bridge deliver the rich tones without interference from other strings.

The main features of the Ibanez BTB555 include:

An electrifying, high quality 5-String bass with rich, clean and versatile tones
35 inch neck scale
