Hi. Nice looking Status
Whats the weight of this bass?
Also, is it a Jazz type neck or a Precision?
Cheers

Hi, don't have any scales at home but should be able to borrow some over the weekend and get back to you...its a good weight though, owing to the hollowness; shoulder friendly! The nut is 42mm so width wise more precision, the overall neck feel is typical Status, slim, fast smooth and ridiculous low action (yet still no buzzes)

I really like the look of this bass , I'm just wondering , I play with heavy gauge strings tuned D,G,C,F how would this work with a carbon neck?

I cant speak from experience of that particular setup, but I can imagine it would work well, graphite necks are strong and in my opinion easy to setup and they produce clear notes right across the fretboard which might help with the heavy strings.
