Pow_22 Posted August 26, 2014 Share Posted August 26, 2014 As much as i love P basses ive always had a soft spot for semi-hollow basses. Been neogtiating with a local crack converters over a black Aria TAB bass and finally settled on a price at weekend. Needs a set up (action is a little high) and defo new strings. I normally use flats but for some reason i think they may be a bit TOO dark on this bass. Ive only had chance to play it at low volumes at the mo but will take it to rehearsal tomorrow and see how the current rounds sound. Might even take the oppertunity to try some Chromes seeing as they are meant to be quite bright. Im also assuming ill need Extra Long scale in view of the bridge/tailpiece setup.
