NPAD: Ashdown RPM1

Well, some of you may have read about my continuing troubles with my trusty old Ampeg SVP-Pro, and I've been keeping my on out for something second-hand that could preplace it....and up pops an Ashdown RPM-1 EVO II pre on Ebay for local collection, just up the road from me.

Got it for a decent price, brought it home and plugged it in this eveing. A couple of squirts of switch cleaner cured a couple of slightly noisy pots and it sounds great.

Can't really crank it up this time of night, but I'm very impressed so far.
