Bass Collection wiring problem

Hi, I've got a pj active pickup sgc nanyo bass collection, could be the 310 or the 325, but I'm struggling to find a circuit diagram. Just put a new jack barrel in and it's not working properly, no sound when I pushe the jack fu
Ly in, but get some when it's a bout 2/3 in.

I recently fitted a new Switchcraft stereo barrel jack in my SB315,the 2 centre pins, shortest=hot,(mine is white)next longest=negative battery,then the longest outside=ground
it works fine,so hope this helps,unless yours is wired like this then i dont know

Edit:
Hubrad below says the negatives are the opposite way round to how i have wired mine,so my wiring could be be wrong.

I can never remember which pin is which on a barrel jack, so I always work it out afresh with a test meter and a stereo jack plug.
Most commonly you get two black wires, which form the switching part of the negative side of the battery. They go battery neg to sleeve, circuit board neg to ring.
