KingPrawn Posted May 29, 2014 Share Posted May 29, 2014 (edited) Hello All I have this wonderful 5 string Warwick Thumb bolt on serial No: A058046-99 ( although warwick site is not responding). I bought it about 8 months ago from the bay. Its a great sounding bass and has been fitted with new elixir nano web strings. No issues with electrics. I bought it as i have been a Thumb owner since 1988. I started a new project, so i decided i needed a 5 string and went for the Thumb. It turns out i was completely wrong and have not touched it in the last 6 months. Prior to me owning it there has been some wear and tear, you will see from the pictures the dings and dents. Of particular note is the fretboard on the E string edge between 1st and 2nd and 5th and 7th frets the bass must have been rested on its edge, as there are dents here. There is some scaring on the machine heads. I have tried to take close up pictures so you get a better idea of the marks etc. None of these issues effect the sound or playability at all. In terms of trades i would like to get my hands on a nice 4 string MM stingray (not black) i prefer natural, cream etc. Money your way if necessary.
