Selling my Peavey Fury bass. Passive, P-bass type split pickup with *very* skinny neck, just 37mm wide, also very shallow indeed. This is one of the best models with the line around the headstock. Mid 80s ('86 or '87, I think) this is in exceptional condition for a bass that is nearly 30 years old. Bright red, white scratchplate, maple neck with rosewood fretboard. Sounds like an aggressive Fender Precision, can be tamed if necessary by judicious use of the tone or stringing with flats. Weighs around 8.5lbs.

I had *really* bad GAS for one of these a while back and Flat Eric of this parish sold me this from his collection. Shallow, I know, but had it been in black I would have probably kept it - I find bright red hard to live with. But I have too many basses and this has to go. Not to say that if a black one popped up i wouldn't buy it as I think these are *superb*. Nothing complicated about these - but everything about it is quality, even the tuners are really sold and smooth. The neck in unbelieveable. Totally knocks spots off a Squier but for Squier money.

£150 collected from SS7, £165 posted, will meet halfway or deliver within 50 miles for fuel.
