lollington Posted February 22, 2014 Share Posted February 22, 2014 I saw this cab in the corridor at the studio earlier today. I used to work in a rehearsal studio where personal equipment was stored securely but I've been to plenty of studios where equipment overflows from open storage areas into corridors, kitchens, sometimes the studios themselves. Thought this was a pretty novel idea. Certainly enough to stop a cheeky punter from 'borrowing' your gear over the studio's tatty stuff. I prefer to cart my stuff home but thought I would share this for those of you who might have experienced trouble where you have to leave equipment in public areas. chriswareham Posted February 23, 2014 Share Posted February 23, 2014 Whenever I've stored amp and cabs at rehearsal studios I have always removed the fuse from the amp. Even when we had a dedicated cage to ourselves I suspected someone else had access, since things would move about. In that instance I replaced the studio's padlock with my own.
