Would a BOSS ME-50 (the guitar model) still be suitable for use with a bass, (I know there is a dedicated bass model) or would it be a bit of lame duck.....!?! Truckstop Posted January 8, 2014 Share Posted January 8, 2014 Yeah it'll be fine; the bass version does have bass specific modelling and I think most of the effects are modelled for bass frequencies but I've never noticed much difference (I have an ME-20 for bass and for guitar and they both sound the same to my ears).
