Hi

I have these two items surplus to my needs at the moment and i need to raise some cash to fund an incomming wedding.

1 - Ampeg SVP 1500:

Great amp, it's in brand new condition. I got this recently from a musicstore where i had some credit. It was made in the 90's and spent all this time on display in that store. Has a very few hours of play. It's practicly unmarked. Doesn't have box or manual.

Power ratings:

Stereo operation:
280W p/ channel at 8ohm
480W p/ channel at 4ohm
780W p/ channel at 2ohm

Bridge mode:
960W at 8ohm
1560W at 4ohm

(note - on the manual the back plate shows speakon connectors but the model i'm selling has binding posts instead)

2 - Ashly BP-41:

Doesn't need introduction, great preamp very sought after for it's high studio performance. It's in almost new condition, no scratches or rust. Has had a fair bit of use always in studio (from what i could find out). Many great names used one of these on their rig at one time in their careers. In perfect working order, no noises or signs of repairs.

(note - this preamp is the UK/EU 230V model but has the EU type power plug - doesn't come with a "kettle" socket, the power chord comes attached to the preamp - UK buyers will need to get an adapter)

Hi Paulie

The amp comes a bit shy of 15Kg. I really don't know much about it, like i stated on the add i got it just to clear some store credit and at the time it was the only resellable piece of gear i could find that would fit my current need for a power amp.
Only thing i can say is that it packs a heavy punch and has what seems to be unlimited power! Hooking it to my S12T it makes her shine.

Only reason i'm selling is because it doesn't mach well with the PB-1 (too much low end from each) and i prefer to keep the pre and change the amp than do the opposite. The Ashly maches the Ampeg very well, nice and smooth sound, defined and clear but i already have that sound covered with the Thunderfunk. I'm looking for some warmth and the PB-1 is the best alternative to the F1-X i can find at a very reasonable price.

Cheers
