I may well be wrong, but didn't Matsumoku fit DiMarzio Model P pick ups into a lot of their basses? These definatly look alot like them with the adjustable polepieces. Bargain for somebody at £19 if they are.

I have no reason to think this is Dimarzio, although it is possible it may be.
I have owned a late 70's/early 80's cream covered Dimarzio precision pickup (had Dimarzio moulded into the inside of the pickup cover), and it looked nothing like this underneath. This one is also 4 conductor, and to my knowledge, Dimarzio P pickups of the period would all be 2 conductor. Still doesn't mean it isn't a Dimarzio, but I doubt it. It'll be of a comparable quality though.
