Vintage Tony Butler Signature - mint + Final reduction
£190

I've got my eyes firmly fixed on another bass and my Tony Butler Signature P bass needs to go.

I paid £210 for it. I fitted a Kiorgon harness to it to replace the original cheap pots with CTS pots and decent wiring/capacitor. I fitted some quality flat topped chrome knobs and it's much improved.

The fretwork wasn't ideal so I invested £110 in a fret dress and a new nut and now the fretwork is top notch (Phil Hartley in Bolton did the work).

So with the Ernie Ball nickels I've spent the best part of £400 on the bass and it's hardly been played.

It has Wilkinson Tuners/Pickup/Bridge that are a cut above the usual budget bass gear and it's nicely finished with a classic maple/black/black look with a vintage hue neck.

I had it up for sale for a firm £250 previously but needs must. This really IS a bargain believe me. Collection and viewing no problem or will deliver at cost.

34" scale and it sounds really nice.

What is the nut width?

This looks nice. If it's narrow ish I'm am very tempted.

Hiya Mr NW. I'm at work til the morning but I'll get back to you. It's not a Jazz width that I know.

A final bump at £180 plus delivery before eBay.

This is a great sounding, stunning looking, well built and immensely playable bass in mint condition.

It cost £400 to get this good and I'm offering it for less than half that. I have too many basses and at least one should go before my new ACG arrives. I'm not desperate for the cash and I don't really need a trade (you could try me).
