I've had it and been gigging with it for about 6 years now and it's been doing me pretty well. BUT, as far as I know, all original pickups etc. and they're starting to show a few signs of age and wear now. Aside from a few dings in the laquer and a slight chip on the neck, the body and neck are in good condition though, so would do well if anyone's after a project bass. When you say the pickups are showing signs of wear what exactly do you mean? are they fully functional and just cosmetic damage? or will they need replacing?
