MynameisntDan Posted September 14, 2013 Share Posted September 14, 2013 Hello all, Basically, i'm about to buy a spector legend 5 for, in total honesty, dirt cheap. Of course this has made me a touch skeptical about buying it or not, but i've heard it, and played it and all seems fine. basically I just want to know whether this thing is legitimate or not (i know absolutely nothing about spector, i'm an avid jazz bass user who's always fancied one) I know the legend series isn't Spectors top dog series, but being a poor student, i'd rather know that i'm getting what i'm paying for. Plays great and sounds great, weighs a bit though... I reckon its the best sixer in this price range, either this or the yammy 1006j. Also mine says 'crafted in Indonesia' on the back of the headstock so this one is obviously from a different factory so might be a different quality all together...
