Yes, 40/45/50 should be well within those limits, but even that may not always be the case. Greggo Posted August 8, 2013 Author Share Posted August 8, 2013 Because Im so used to adjusting my other bass from the top end, this was a totally new ball game it seems! Even with the plastic seat off it doesnt buy you that much room certainly no where near the same room you have on a headstock end adjuster. i had to do two turns so it equated to a 1/4 turn. I think its safe to say the truss rod is fine after all but it did need a fair bit of welly and a push down on the neck to persuade it to move.
