Weighting only 11 kg, this is the combo with 4 x 5" neo speakers - two of them upward facing. It has a remarkable bass response for such a small unit and in addition the small speakers are able to move fast enough to reproduce transients well. It is at the hi-fi end of bass amps.

I am selling it because I play an acoustic bass guitar - a Tacoma Thunderchief - which is very resonant and feeds back at very low volumes. The upward facing speakers, while being ideal for solid instruments cause the Tacoma to scream. I've used the amp successfully with a solid bass guitar where it really brings out the character of the instrument. Apparently it works well with EUBs. It is not the loudest of amps, but it does have an XLR out so can be DI -ed through the PA for larger gigs.

I played through this very amp last week and it was lovely. Lots of lovely, warm low end despite only being tiny wee speakers. "Whatever" is also a genuinely lovely bloke to do business with too.
