cd_david Posted June 8, 2013 Share Posted June 8, 2013 Hi I have a G5 Power Pc version and 2 neovo f417 monitors. Now I've used these monitors in a dual configuration on an old G4 with no issues. I if both plug one or both into this g5 I get only 1 resolution choice??? I've downloaded resolution managers, re installed the OS but nothing. Got me baffled, anyone? BigRedX Posted June 8, 2013 Share Posted June 8, 2013 What's the spec of the graphics card? You might have run out of VRAM if you are trying to run both monitors at very high resolutions. Try reducing the resolution of one and see if it will allow you to increase the resolution of the other. What happens when you switch to mirroring rather than extended desktop? cd_david Posted June 8, 2013 Author Share Posted June 8, 2013 Even if I plug one in by itself there is only the one resolution, I used exactly the same 2 monitors on a G4 without any issues.
