It is a Fender , its made by Fender its just at the cheaper end of their range hence the "Squier by Fender" tag. If you put a Mighty Mite or other Licensed neck on a Fender is it less of a Fender than a Squier ???? dunno you tell me. What about a Mexican or a Japanese Fender, they are all Fenders but not made in America, where do you draw the line ?. And what do we have at the bottom of the Squire Homepage......
