Made in England this is the one with the compressor and 7 band EQ etc etc.

In excellent cosmetic condition, has handle added on side (could be removed) and the amp screw grommets are missing on the top.

This has been an unused spare for some time, now however, the amp powers up fine, fan runs, led lights up, but when you plug a speaker in it makes a farting noise.

So been sold cheap as a project for someone in the know. I have had it out of the sleeve and there is no damage or heat marks of any kind inside in fact it looks perfect. It may be a simple fix I have no idea.

So please only buy if you know which end of a soldering iron to hold.

Hi PsycoAndy, can you add a bit more detail on the nature of the fault.

When you say farting do you mean ...

a continuous loud hum?

and . . .

If you plug your guitar in do you get any sound coming through the speaker? Or just the farting

and . . .
If you plug your guitar directly into the power amp; either via the effects return loop socket or if there is a power amp input socket on the back, what do you get

Reason I ask is that a while back in a moment of madness I bought an old box of Trace Elliot power amp boards (5 of them) so was thinking that I should be able to cobble something together.
