Open to offers close to asking price and will post for extra costs, but prefer collection from nottingham. Great player and served me well, sad to see it go and would keep it if I had the funds to buy this other bass outright. Setup with medium-low action, with d'ardario balanced tension set, has plenty of punch, the glocckenclang preamp is powerful, as you can imagine sound wise with a bog humbucker in he sweet spot it sounds like a stingray. But will still burp like a jazz and thump like a P if wanted. Condition: body is in pretty decent condition but has been used, the neck has suffered a fair few scratches but nothing drastic that effects playing. petergales Posted April 29, 2013 Share Posted April 29, 2013 I have one of these. They are very, very under-rated basses. I could never understand why they called this a "Basic" as it's anything but.
