Fender Gig Stand - Folding Electric Guitar stand

I just bought one of these for my ThinLineTelecaster guitar. Very easy to fold/unfold, parts lock into place nicely, well made, strong enough plastic & good 'ridged' sort of grey soft rubber contact areas - "Suitable for Guitar Finishes" - I assume this includes Nitro!

It's very neat with a smaller footprint than other stands I've had, great for limited space & less sticking out bits to trip over. Excellent streamlined shape & size when folded, will easily fit in a gig bag pocket or a guitar case with no nasty sharp edges or unwanted stray legs & it stays folded!

Telecaster sits in it perfectly, so does the P-bass shape, confidently stable but doesn't take much of a lateral push to start it toppling over with the extra height & weight of a bass, obviously with the compact design - you can't have everything.

No good for Jazz bass shape though, or anything with a offset body, there's no 'safe' angle I could get a Jazz to sit without a tendency to go over sideways. Because there's nothing to get hold of it's a bit aukward to lift & move with a guitar in situ, due to the low back support.

Scores:
Value for Money: Cost £13.30 posted, pretty good = 7/10
Construction: Decent Quality materials & well made = 8/10
Appearance: Smooth & stylish, Black + Red badges + Grey soft areas = 9/10
Usefulness: Limited to symetrical shaped bottoms = 6/10
