I bought this 2 weeks ago for a bass sale on here that disappointingly fell through so this is brand new, un-opened straight from the USA ....

Hi LZD56 - I really couldn't be sure.

Looking at a pic of the Fender SQ Mike Dirnt Precision Bass, I'd say you could fit it but with some major changes needed mainly because of the position / routing of the 2 controls on the Telecaster style bass which are in a slightly different position to normal P basses.

If you really wanted to do it you could but with major work - new holes needed for fixing the new plate to the body, old holes left over that would need filling plus the above control pot routing etc.

Large job but doable if you really really wanted to....
