D-Tuner For Sandberg PM

Hi Guys,

Working in a band alternating between standard and drop D at the moment, typically with songs not grouped in tunings.

Any suggestions on direct replacement drop tuner for my Sandberg California PM. Needless to say I require tuning stability and don't want to drill any holes in the headstock.

Emailed Sandberg for their thoughts, but nothing forthcoming from them.

California specs say hardware is by Sandberg but tuners look very similar to Schaller BMs. Technical drawing of the BM with dimensions available here:

If the critical dimensions are the same then a Hipshot BT1 drop-D tuner might drop in.
