Clarky Posted December 25, 2012 Share Posted December 25, 2012 (edited) Hi all, I love the Spiro Weich strings on my basses but I am intrigued by the number of people that swap out the Weich 'E' string for a Mittel 'E'. I do notice a slight loss of volume on the 'E' so I fancy trying out a Mittel. So does anyone have a spare Mittel 'E' (from the 3/4 set, the 3885s) they fancy selling? Would have to be in good condition with little/no fraying of the silks as I am a bit OCD and my Weichs are all immaculate!
