yorks5stringer Posted December 23, 2012 Share Posted December 23, 2012 This may seem a silly question but am a bit confused with said Bass. All the photos of Jazz Basses show 2 large and 1 small knob in that order so I'm assuming Volume 1, Volume 2 and Tone? Mine has 3 round chrome knurled knobs but seem to be in the reverse order: Tone, V1 and V2. The obvious thing is to tap the poles and turn the knobs and work out what is what, but that does not seem to be consistent with what I'm doing to the knobs...sometimes both pickups click even though one volume is off.
