Pete1967
I'm not a fan of single cuts usually - but that is lovely...

tommy_bass
How old is this Tommy and where are you based?
I'm not sure, but I bet it was made in ~2002-2003. It's one of the first Tribals, owned first by a popular session-bassist Filip Sojka here, in Poland. I'm in Poland. BigJim
I've just spoken to GMR and they say that the neck is an aftermarket one been put in and the original has been cut off (it was originally a neck through). I was getting confused about the Ri*&er-eqsue headstock, the lack of logo and the straight style headstock!! It does look like a cracking job they have done though! Good luck bro
tommy_bass
I have asked the earlier owner about the Neck. It's a custom neck made by Nexus (http://www.nexus-guitars.com/), because the original one was broken in a car accident. However the neck is a special one, perfectly fited into this bass and made with a special care of Nexus. This neck is a thin and speed one. Very comfortable. String action - you can set as you like. BigJim
I must say as stated before, it does look like a very good job been done on it!
solartron
This bass has Nexus neck, but it is advantage. Nexus is probably the best Polish luthier (in my opiniom much better than GMR or Mayones). A few months ago, I sold to UK Nexus fretless on bass chat , so you can ask the new owner about Nexus quality http://basschat.co.uk/topic/178514-sold-nexus-6-string-fretless/page__hl__nexus
