If the lakland doesn't sell this week i'm gonna have to trade it in. It's a great bass just not my bag at this time. Grab yourselves a hoofing bass for a now stupidly LOW price. This bass also comes with a brown suede strap. For sale here is my 2010. Lakland 55-02, Skyline 5 string active bass. Previously owned and played by Phil Simmonds. I'm sure you're all aware of Phil and who he gigs with. Clean, Mint bass. Immaculate. Totally unabused bass. I dont need to go into details. Usual Lakland goodies, lakland usa p/ups, hipshots tuners etc etc. Phil got this bass from Lakland in 2010 and owned it until I took it off his hands. It comes to you as it came to me. Clean and ready to go. I'm not trying to use Phils name to sell the bass or anything as i'm selling it for way less than what I paid for it but Phils a cool guy and its just testament that this bass was used and played by one of the UK's freshest players and just goes to say that this is a SERIOUS bass for a SERIOUS player, and to be fair it's seen some pretty good action... A great, professional players bass ready for top end recording and live work. It's got some pretty heavy d'addario nickel wounds (I think) on it at the minute and the action is fairly high which obviously works for Phils heavy duty stage work so you might wanna change these out but other than that it's a straight out Lakland 5 string goodie. The case is not for sale with the bass as this still belongs to Phil. This bass is beautiful. Does exactly what you'd expect a Lakky to do but I have 2 Fender P's which for me are much easier to play so I need this bass gone. I'm either up for a straight sale or a straight swap/trade for a Fender P, 80's JV Squier P, old or new, 4 or 5 string (or similar) plus cash adjustments either way. [/quote] Hey, sorry about that, I dont know why thats happening... It works when I click the link...that's strange. There are half a dozen snaps there and a couple of phil with the bass. But in answer Mojoke, it's neither. It's the natural ash body/maple neck/rosewood body skyline that he had. I know if you just type 'lakland 5 string' into the gumtree search field then I think mine is the only lakky for sale there... Hope this helps. Any probs viewing it I can mail you the snaps... I'm dropping it to £650 today or a trade of same value. If it's not gone by Friday I'm gonna trade it in at emporium for literally anything.
