[/quote] Two things: I know someone who removed the circuit years ago and has played it passive ever since. The other thing - I [i]think [/i]I put it up here, somwhere - I did a VERY simple mod to my Artist, using a piece of paper between one of the contacts - I will try and find it. The bass became a bit of a beast - sort of supercharged - a lot of Punch! Will come back to you. Cheers. Edit: Found it! How did you find out about it? [/quote] The switch went a bit hit and miss, so I took the back off to give it a clean. While I was making sure all worked - moving the switch slowly, an additional sound appeared. Once I had worked out what was making contact and what was not, I put a piece of thin card in to keep the contacts from each other. An interesting one, it kinda sounds louder and brighter but that's just through my little practice combo. Look forward to trying it properly through my full rig this Thursday.
