Marshall IBS 1540 4x10 cabinets
(that's Integrated Bass System, not painful stomach cramps brought on by abuse of wheat products).

400watts RMS
8 ohm

1/4" input

I have two of these available for an awesome 4ohm 8x10.

Here's the story for anyone who is interested. I had a 215 cab which I used for years and years and loved. When it finally let go I needed a replacement quickly. I bought these cabs off UncleMeat off this forum (really nice guy!). Despite my love for my 215 I had to admit these cabs were faaaar better. Much tighter low end and deeper mids - excellent when paired with my soundcity for the doom stoner rock I play.

I used these cabs for everything and liked the versatility that having 2 410 cabs gave me - one for practice and smaller gigs then the double stack for bigger gigs - was great standing infront of an 810! I also won a battle of the bands with this set up and used it to record my band's ep so really rate them!!

For some reason I had always avoided marshall for bass but was so impressed with these cabs I know have a marshall VBC412 itch I have to scratch so sadly these need to go.

I hope UncleMeat doesn't mind but I'm using his pictures and a bit of description in this ad as I am being lazy!

Both are a little tatty tolex wise, one more so than the other (see pics). I bought them with the Marshall logos removed as I think they look better without them.Tolex aside, they are in perfect working order.

Very loud. Very beefy. Hard as nails. Excellent rock tone. Lots of lows, and it can also tear your face off. Simple port in the middle, no tweeter. Big and heavy, but if you're into those new fangled class D Lego amps you probably aren't even looking at this post anyway, right? ;)

Not pretty, not clever - old school brutes. These are quite happy with solid state or valve amps.

As far as I know the drivers are Celestion Sidewinders.

Not up for posting these but could potentially wait for a courier that you organise and pay for.
Also happy to deliver for diesel money within reasonable distance. I'm located in Bath (south west).
Cash on collection preferred.

Thanks for the clarification - Celestion G10 - 100's it is - sorry if any confusion caused

I was told they were celestion sidewinders when I got the cabs - however I have never had to open the cabs up as they all work great and sound lovely!!!

The cabs are currently single jack inputs - so you would need 2 outputs from your amp to run both.

The cabs are 400 watts each so should be ok with your amp - 1 cab should be ok with your amp - most gigs i did i only used one with volume about 1/3 to 1/2 of the way up - if you want to really crank your amp up then run 2 cabs which would be 800 watt

The cabs are 8 ohm each - so 4 ohms when run together. I don't know what amp you run but if it is solid state it is likely to be 4 ohm minimum so one or 2 cabs are fine for this. If you have a valve amp - just make sure you match the power output tap to the ohms of the cab - 8 ohms for one or 4 ohms for two

SOMEONE BUY THIS MAN'S BASS!!!!

No, I don't mind you recycling my post. I'll take it as a compliment.

RE: Sidewinders - I read that the IBS cabs had Celestion Sidewinders in - but I guess it's just the 15s that are Sidewinders.

Cabs are brilliant, bulletproof rock cabs. Would love to have them back - got the space now, but not the cash. Good luck with the sale.
