Hi, I'm totally new to this forum/thread thingy so if this is somewhere its not supposed to be then apologies.
I have a 1975 Gibson G3 Bass with the three pickups and the three way selector, its in need of repair and although I'm no expert, the wiring looks pretty simple
and with the help of fotos I've seen on the net I'm sure I can bring her back to life. My only problem is that there is an electronic component that bridges between
the volume and tone controls. I know its either a resistor or a capacitor, just don't know which one. can anyone shed light on this for me.
many thanks in anticipation. http://www.flyguitar.../G3wiring_3.jpg I have no idea how to get the hamsters that make the internet work light up the link
I've put on here so you'll have to copy and paste. (yes the internet's made to work by hamsters cos they've nothing better to do, go on and give me a more plausible
explanation, you can't can you)
