Gust0o
Afternoon all. I took this in as a trade, and will admit it's good; very good - it's standard Lakland quality. The bass is robust, yet feather-light; the maple neck and board is superb, and is a quick player; the Lakland pick-ups and pre-amp give the bass some real flexibility. Condition is maybe 8 or 9/10. There's a full write-up of the specs on the Lakland site: http://lakland.com/44-02.htm All in all, superb - I'll have no qualms about keeping it... but, if I can, I'd like to use it as collateral against a 3EQ Stingray. Colour preference would be black, with Rosewood (already have a black and maple), but am not fussy - providing the Stingray is of similiar condition. Happy to add cash, if required, to secure the right deal. Pic attached, but happy to provide more over the weekend as required. Gust0o
Well, my sales threads are always riotous affairs Do we have any specific requests for pics, or should I simply grab a handful?
sime17
Well, my sales threads are always riotous affairs
Dude! BUMP for some Lakland lurve. Dunno why no buzz on here - I had a 5502 and it was very very nice - I only got rid cos Lakland 5s (unlike their 4s) are 35" scale and I find 34" more comfortable. If i had the readies I wouldn't mind one of these.
They're very, very nice basses - very refined, very light. This one, however, has just been traded - sorry to disappoint. Hope you get one in the end, as I think you'll really enjoy it

chuck_stones
Mmm, always regretted trading my Lakie... I don't suppose you'd consider selling. Not that I currently have funds, but if you were I might sell a body part or two
