I bought it a while ago and at the time i bought ot it had already been resprayed black by a previous owner (some pics in my thread in the repairs etc section). the paint job wasnt bad but not brilliant, anyhow i lived with it. the bass plays great, all original in all other aspects (pups, preamp, bridge etc) Anyhow, i decided to strip the black and see what was underneath... As it turns out it looks like the black was sprayed directly over the original finish, which turns out to be a nice trnslucent green colour (the 'washburn status' logo even remaining intact!! Ive totally removed the black now both front and back, yes its not perfect, yes theres some sanding lines visible but i;m sure with just allittle more time/patience it would look great (although it does look fine as it is now) anyhow, all things considered I was hoping for £300?
