Andy Jones Posted March 3, 2012 Share Posted March 3, 2012 Hi everyone, I've just joined the forum so I thought I'd better introduce myself on here before I get into all of the heated conversations I am bound to come across in the depths of the forums. My name is Andy Jones and I have been playing the bass for about 11 years. Self taught for the first couple of years but then I got myself a tutor who got me through grades 5,6 and 8 through LCM. I currently own a Warwick Corvette $$ NT Bubinga 5-string, a Warwick Corvette Fretless Rockbass 5-string and a Warwick Streamer Rockbass 5-String. All of these I run through my Warwick Sweet 25.1 amp. As you can all tell, I am a Warwick fan... I have played various basses in the past 11 years and I still feel you don't get a better growl or sound out of many other basses. Currently I am in a band called One Man Short. We're an acoustic pop covers band based in Shrewsbury playing a range of everything from early 1950's to now. The band format is just 2 acoustic guitars, 1 bass and 3 voices.
