I should mention that i'm more or less a open book when it comes to what kind of music i want to play and wouldn't mind so examlpes of music that each bass plays.(not too sure if it's all according to the pups themselves or what not). Musky Posted February 27, 2012 Share Posted February 27, 2012 If it were me, I'd be looking seriously at the Lazer. It's a Matsumoku made bass from a time when they were at the top of their game. I bought another - a fretless - but never needed to get anything else, or indeed been tempted. So maybe having had only 2, I'm not qualified to give advice but having 2 pickups naturally increases the versatility over 1. I guess you want something a bit more modern looking than a Jazz bass, but they are incredibly versatile - there's a reason why there are so many of them. [/quote] Can't believe i missed that... well thats true that it does take my mind of the budget . but hopefully if it's not sold i'll try and get my hands on it myself that saying that my funds get sorted out quiet soon =).
