Been offered a bass for £350 ono, needs strings, bow rehair and setup. It has a case but no pickup. Its in pretty good nick.
Would this be a good investment etc, I want to play blues/jazz but with arco occasionally too.
It would be my first db, so i could use some tips on what to look for too please guys!

i bought one of these last year for £400! its a great bass, i've often thought about an upgrade and then realised unless I'm going to get an old bass there is no point, it sounds great! The action on mines high for jazz playing which can be annoying but i want it high so i can practice arco. I don't think it'l be a good investment in terms of it'l go up in value but you will definitely get your moneys worth out of it. I went with some silver splappers on it and they sound and feel brilliant
