Up for sale is my beautiful Pedulla Thunderbolt 5. I acquired this bass as a trade about a year ago from Eubassix and I have used it predominantly for shows where its sound has been much admired. It has a very unique sound - sweet and very refined at the top but with a retro kind of 80's studio honky sound at the mid and bottom. (hope that makes sense!)

I really don't want to part with it but I now have a Ken Smith and don't really need a second fretted bass at the moment. Trust me, theres not a lot between them though.

Specs-wise its quite simple with volume, pan and tone controls and the 'thunderguts switch' which seems to just boost the active signal. The neck feels great and the bass was recently set up by John at the Gallery.

Details of the bass can also be found on:

I include some very artistic photos taken by Eubassix and the instrument hasn't changed. Its a 1997 model and has some buckle surface scratches at the back but no obvious dings etc. The front looks perfect.

SOLD. The bass comes with a road worn but perfectly serviceable hardcase and the special trussrod.

I loathe to ship such a valuable and unique instrument so would prefer the buyer to collect or perhaps we could organise something. I recently sold a Stingray and met the guy just outside the M25.

No trades - if I needed two fretted basses I would keep this one!

I'd be quick. Once my bank balance is healthier she's coming off, thats for sure!

Cheers,

D

Hi there, sorry, I don't have any bathroom scales but the webpage specs say 9 -10lbs. To be honest, it feels neither light nor heavy - its lighter than my Ken Smith if thats any help.

Sorry, I'm London based and not venturing outside of the M25 for a while. I could in theory post it but I would prefer for you to try the bass first.

Feel free to pm mate with any further questions. Best, Damon
