Oh yes, I'd forgotten they were like that. Shame. If I were at all likely to swing by Sussex in the near future, I'd offer to deliver it for you; but unfortunately that's not on the cards.

I tried out one of these a while ago and it sounded pretty decent through an amp. G string was a bit odd; had indentations at regular intervals rather than completely smooth. Put me in mind of an A-level depiction of a myelinated neuron.
