I know that there is a Bass model pack add-on available but at £50 could be a bit steep, and as am being given this Pod I thought I might be able to put it to some use. Any thoughts? Skybone Posted January 10, 2012 Share Posted January 10, 2012 I mainly use the HiWatt & Plexi amp models, with a mixture of 4x10 & 4x12 cab models. There is always the Fender Bassman model if they don't do anything for you, it was originally a Bass amp anyway. But as with any amp/modeller, get in there, mess about with various settings/models/cabs, and find something that sounds good to you. Mog Posted January 10, 2012 Share Posted January 10, 2012 Many of the FX in the bass pod are based on guitar units so all you'll really be missing out on are the amp sims. Mess around with it for a solid week, I find a lot of people dont put enough time into multi fx units to get the full potential out of them, and if you are not happy then download the bass pack.
