He reckons that they can't afford to buy vans or uniforms for their delivery staff. Me and my Sister-in-law did our entire Christmas shopping via Amazon, taking advantage of my Prime membership. A lot of stuff was delivered by HDNL and some by CityLink. The delivery drivers were just wearing rather scruffy day clothes and using their own cars. I guess they were just taken on for the Christmas rush, but I did wonder what checks were done on them.
