Hi all, just finished the primer on my bass ready for the satin black Ive chosed. My question is, whats the best way to do it. Do I spray then sand down and spray again etc. And do I need to put a clear coat over the top? Not sure. The preparation Ive done is awesome, dont want to spoil my ggod work.

Cheers.

Jason

Sanding between coats or flatting will give you the best results just use a high grit sand paper. 1200 grit was the best for me. You can get satin clear coat sprays http://www.manchesterguitartech.co.uk/shop/category/nitrocellulose-lacquer/clearcoats/ this is what I used on my project and it turned out nicely.
